Welcome to 2024, everyone! As you can probably already tell, this post is going to be a bit more informal compared to my other posts but it lends itself to informality, so I’m not going to worry about it!
As I think about 2023 and everything that it held, one of the key themes was going beyond my own expectations. When I started a blog for the first time last February and started my little email list, I had NO IDEA that I would end up where I am. And I certainly never dreamed that I’d be hosting my own livestream on instagram and sharing my tips for writing when you aren’t motivated. When I started that tiny little, unprofessional blog in February, I had just started writing seriously the fall before. I did not see myself as a skilled writer but I had ideas that I wanted to share. And here I am.
Guys, I am living proof of what God can do with action steps. Shaky as they may be, unconfident as they may seem, small as they may appear to be, God can turn them into something unimaginable.
Unimaginable.
That’s what I want for 2024, and I want it because I know it’s possible, it happened to me this past year. I had a dream, without even fully realizing it, of being a content creator, of being someone who shares information, tips, and encouragement online, and this year that dream came true. There’s still a way to go, but I am way further along than I ever dreamed I’d be by this time.
So in 2024, I am going to take advantage of what God has shown me through my life this past year and take action for the unimaginable. I don’t know exactly what this will look like yet—I’m going to be spending some of this week figuring that out—but I do know that I’m going to be focusing on consistency, getting in the reps, and nurturing myself.
And here’s a sneak peek into what 2024 will look like for my readers and followers online:
- I am so excited to say that Pearl Christine is designing a new website for me! I will share more details in the future but all I can say is, prepare to be amazed everybody, Pearl is SO talented!
- I’m planning to start a Youtube Channel! Yes, I am SO excited about this and I have to work out some details before I begin but I am really looking forward to starting!
- I plan to be doing a livestream on my Instagram live stream every Saturday (or almost every Saturday) and share writing tips, as well as encouragement and motivation.
